Butterfly and Blossoms

When I saw this card on Sandy McIver's YouTube video, I couldn't resist having a go!  My finished card is slightly different but definitely inspired by Sandy's beautiful card.

The base of the card is pear pizzazz which has been layered with basic black cardstock and then the In Colours DSP.  I've used the new Framelet Dies Labels Collection which are just fantastic and so easy to use.

I've gone a bit mad on punches!  I've used the Bird Builder punch for the leaves, the Boho Blossoms punch for the flower and of course the delightful Butterfly punch.

This is a fun and easy card to make

Summer Mini Blog Hop

Welcome to the Summer Mini Blog Hop.  You may have come from Beckie's blog and seen her wonderful projects.

I made this delightful bag at Julie's training workshop.  The bag is made from 12" x 12" whisper white cardstock which has been stamped with the Bordering on Romance stamp set.  The colours are Riding Hood Red, Basic Grey, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz and Baja Breeze and these have been applied with a blender pen.  You could also use marker pens or watercolour pencils.

This card was my swap for Julie's training event.  I've used the beautiful Twitterpated DSP and the Mixed Bunch stamp set and matching Blossom punch.  I love the colours in this DSP and they work so well together.

This card is made using bits and pieces from my stash and the Postage Stamp Punch which as you can see, is very versatile.  The stamp image is from the Perfect Postage stamp set and matches the Postage Stamp Punch perfectly.

Cupcakes and more ...

Yesterday was the day of the April card class.   We focussed on stamp sets in the Spring Mini Catalogue and Vanessa brought us some delicious cupcakes to get us in the right mood!

The cards included cupcakes ...

and ice-cream cones

The box caused lots of laughter - what I thought was a simple box turned out to be quite a challenge for some!  We ended up with a variety of boxes - all wonderful but all different ...

We also made a lovely card using the My Friend stamp set and the scallop edge punch.

Fancy Flower Card

This quick and easy card is inspired by Lindsey.  I love the simplicity of using the Fancy Flower Punch and a piece of  Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack (Brights) behind.
