One For the Boys

Another sunny day but a bit chilly outside again so I've decided to stay in and make a card for the boys - something I always find difficult for some reason.  Why is that when there are some wonderful stamp sets and papers to use?  Anyway, the Plane and Simple stamp set is perfect for mens' cards. I hope you agree.

I used Concord Crush as the base card and embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured  Impressions Embossing Folder.   Crumb Cake card stock has been used for the scalloped circle and Word Window.  The image and sentiment are also in Concord Crush.  I added a Big Designer Button from the Springtime Vintage Suite.   The final element is the gorgeous Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon.

"One for the Boys" is the challenge over at Bunny Zoe's Crafts; over at Cards for Men the theme is circles and the Papertake Weekly Challenge is anything goes with the option of something round.  Also entered into the Top Tip Tuesday open challenge.

Perhaps I should go out and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.
