Easel Box

I've followed the tutorial on this weeks Top Tip Tuesday Challenge and made an easel box.

This is fun to make but note to self for next time, think about what you are doing before sticking everything together!  When I got to the finishing touches, I thought about using jumbo eyelets and twill tape for the drawer but there isn't room to get the Crop-o-dile in to punch the holes ...  Oh well, next time.

Anyway, I think this makes a lovely card and the drawer could be used for small cards or maybe even a little present.

I've gone back to my favourite stamp set, Vintage Vogue for this and used Cherry Cobbler card stock and Pumpkin Pie DSP.

  1. Sally this is gorgeous! I'm very often the same as you - make something and then think 'if only I'd done that bit first....' It's fine tho - great excuse to make another one! (you could do another one with the eyelets - you can enter up to 3 times!)
Great idea to put little cards in the drawer - I was trying to think of something, that'd make a great gift then too :)

Thanks so much for joining in with our 'Straight Edges' challenge over at Top Tip Tuesday this week :)
