Plane and Simple

I know that this set has now been retired but when I was asked to make a card suitable for a young man, this stamp set immediately sprang to mind.



The design is a joy fold card and the idea came from a card made at a recent class at the Craft Spa.  My finished card is completely different though as I've used different papers and stamps.

To fit in with the travel theme of the plane, I've used the maps from the Newsprint DSP in the 2010-11 catalogue.  Sadly this paper is no longer available.





I'm really pleased with the finished card and will be having another go with some of the beautiful new papers in the 2011-12 catalogue.
