Today's card was created using a Girlie Pink digi stamp - the robin silhouette - and Stampin' Up! background papers, ink and ribbon.
The robin silhouette has been printed onto white card and then cut out with a Cuttlebug using a Nestabilities die. The centre has then been inked using a sponge and Stampin' Up! "Old Olive" water-based dye ink.
The design is based on the Crazy 4 Challenges sketch for C4C67

Pink Daisy Card
Today's card is very pink and girlie!
The centre of the large daisy has been filled in with gilding flakes in Autumn Rose. The gilding flakes are absolutely beautiful and come in several colours. We will be stocking these so if you'd like more information, then please contact me at sally@girliepink.com .
The daisies have been cut out using a Craft Robo and a Girlie Pink template. If you have a Craft Robo, then all you have to do is open the template, insert the paper and let the Craft Robo do the rest.
The background paper is from Stampin' Up and can be ordered from me. It is from the Designer Series Paper Patterns Stack (Brights).
If you are interested in making cards similar to this one, please let me know as I'm planning some workshops in the new year based on this card and other ideas using digi stamps and techniques/products such as the gilding flakes.

Christmas Cards Using Digistamps
Today I've been sitting at my desk, looking out the window at the snow falling. It really is beautiful but I'm so glad I didn't have to go out today.
I've been making Christmas cards using the mice and snowflake digistamp. I used a watermark pen on the snowflake and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder. The photograph doesn't really do it justice, but the snowflake sparkes when the light catches it.
Christmas will be here before we know it. If you haven't started your Christmas cards yet, why not try using one of the Girlie Pink digistamps? They really are quick and easy to use and very effective.
Happy crafting

Snowflake digistamp with a dog
Today's new digistamp features a snowflake and a dog - so sweet!
Again this would make a wonderful card. Why not highlight the snowflake with glitter or emboss it? It's easy to emboss a digistamp - either draw around the outline or fill in a specific area with a watermark pen and then use embossing powder and heat. I've used silver embossing powder on a snowflake and it's just fabulous - it really makes the image sparkle.

Christmas Digistamps
This week I will be showing you the Girlie Pink Christmas digistamps, all of which would make fantastic cards. If you haven't started your Christmas cards yet, why not make a start with these wonderful digistamps? They can be printed onto any colour paper or printed on white and coloured to match your "theme" for this year. You can make all your cards the same, or vary the colours and make them all different - with digistamps, the choice is yours.
The first digistamp is a very cute bunny who has found a snowflake!
Have fun with your Christmas crafting ...

Christmas Bauble Digistamp
As promised, today I've got a Christmas bauble digistamp to show you. The image above is in red but it's also available in blue, sepia, green, light blue, pink and purple.
As with the digital backgrounds, digistamps can be downloaded, re-sized to suit your project and then printed onto white or coloured paper. Once you have the digistamp, you can use it again and again, re-size it as many times as you want so that it's suitable for all your cards and other projects.

Snowflake background
Today I've added a digital background image of snowflakes on a blue background which is just magical.
Again, it can be downloaded, resized and printed to make stunning Christmas cards and other seasonal projects.
What about adding glitter or jewels to make the snowflakes really stand out?
If you'd like to try this or the Christmas baubles backgrounds, please use the PayPal button on the left, or email me at sally@girliepink.com
Tomorrow I'll be showing you some digistamps which can be re-sized, printed, coloured and used to embellish your Christmas projects. The digistamps are so versatile and such fun to use - unlike traditional rubber stamps, you can re-size the image to suit each project that you're working on, big or small.

Christmas Backgrounds
This is an example of a Christmas background which I think is just beautiful and would make a wonderful Christmas card or a scrapbook page, or indeed any other Christmas project you might be thinking about. The above image is shown in red but is also available in green, dark blue, light blue, pink and gold.
At just £3.00 an image they are fantastic value. They can be downloaded, resized, printed and used in whatever way you wish. The beauty of a digital image is that once it has been downloaded, you can use it over and over again - so you will never "run out" of your favourite background paper.
Over the coming days, I'll be posting more of our digital backgrounds and digistamps with ideas illustrating how you can use them. If you like them and wish to purchase one or more, simply click on the PayPal button on the left and choose the appropriate colour background, or simply email me with your wishes.
With Christmas fast approaching, now is the time to explore these beautiful images - so please keep visiting this blog.
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Happy crafting!

The Crafter’s Lament
I think I’ve caught the latest bug, though I’m far from feeling down.
I haven’t got a fever, I’m just a mad old cow.
My bug is quite infectious, and has changed my very life.
You see, I used to have a husband – and he used to have a wife.
It started with a die stamp, but then I bought some more.
I decided that a shoe box, would make an ideal store.
Then as I added inks and pens, my stamping collection grew.
So I bought a sturdy plastic crate, it would last for years, I knew.
Embossing then became my thing with powders and a heat gun,
Metallics, tinsels, pearls and clear; I soon had every one
By now my lovely plastic crate was spilling everywhere
And my glitter glue collection lay scattered on a chair.
My husband started muttering and said things would have to stop
So I bought a huge old wardrobe from the local charity shop.
But after just a little while, I couldn’t shut the door.
Thus, I put up shelves in the spare room, to accommodate yet more!
My bug became my addiction, and spread throughout the house.
Quietly sneaking from room to room - just like a little mouse.
My husband couldn’t cope, said the cards would go or him.
Well it wasn’t a difficult choice – so now he lives in Lymn.
Then I found this place called Girlie Pink, that sells digi stamps online.
You can download, resize and print them, there’s hundreds of designs.
There are no storage issues, no wood nor plastics too,
so I binned all the old ones, and bought them all a new.
Now my home is back to normal, though hubby is still away,
Somehow I’ve forgot to tell him, so he cannot stop my play
I enjoy the peace and quiet, it gives me time for thought
By the way, have I shown you, the latest digi stamp I’ve bought…………

Can't Find The Right Words?
Let me guess... You want to give someone a special card or gift and you have a box full of wooden and acrylic stamps - but none of them say the words you want to express? And you don’t have the programs or technical wizardry to create a top notch design on your own computer? Don’t worry, it’s a familiar story! That’s why at Girlie Pink we are in the process of creating a databank of digital graphic images or ‘expressions’ that you’ll soon be able to download, resize and re-use to your heart’s content. Hopefully, there will be something in it for everyone - for almost every occasion. But if you still can’t find exactly what you want, panic not, we’ll be offering a bespoke design service too.

Character Based Digi Stamps
Here are some examples of our character based digi stamps. These are just part of our ‘Cool Cat’ range of stamps – and are based on the activities of my own cat “Pickle”. (Bless him.) The full range of Cool Cat digi stamps will soon be available at www.girliepink.com for you to download, resize, print & colour. But if you can’t find the right image for your card there – we can always create one for you! Contact us here or via the website to discuss your requirements
Have you ever thought of using digi stamps for your cards and scrapbooking?
Digi stamps are such a low cost option and so easy to store! They are saved into a folder on your PC so you no longer need boxes and boxes of wooden and acrylic stamps.
How often have you looked for a stamp which you know is there... somewhere, but where? Or conversely, how often have you found a stamp which you’d forgotten you’ve got?
How often have you found the perfect wooden or acrylic stamp only to discover it’s too big or too small for your project? With digi stamps, just resize, print and colour – what could be simpler?
Why not let modern technology work for you? Don’t work harder – work smarter!
