Faux Shadow Box Card

When I saw this tutorial by Lisa Curcio I just had to have a go!  The video is great and very easy to follow.  My card is basically the same with a few slight differences as I used the products I already have.  To see the tutorial click here.

The card stock is Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party and Whisper White with a piece of matchig DSP.  The inks used are Rich Razzleberry and Summer Starfruit.

The stampset is the gorgeous Papillon Potpourri with the matching Elegant Butterfly punch.  To finish off I added some rhinestones.

Nothing is wasted! The punched out piece has been used to decorate the inside of the card.

Oh, Hello!

This is one of the first sets I've used from the Summer Catalogue and it's fabulous.  It's called Oh, Hello and is so easy to use.

As you can see, I've stamped the oval and then die cut it with the Big Shot and the Oval Framelits Collection.  The flower is so easy to cut round and just adds dimension to the card.

I love embellishments and the Artisan Embillishments Kit gives you just enough to try everything so perfect for a card like this.

Watch this space for more cards using this stampset.

Layered Labels

Today I've gone back to the main 2012-13 catalogue which I think we tend to forget about when there are mini catalogues for Autumn/Winter and soon Spring/Summer plus of course Sale-a-Bration.

The stamp set is Layered Labels which matches the Apothacary Accents Framelits perfectly.

The edges of the label have been inked with Island Indigo to emphasise the shape and a couple of brads added to give it a bit of texture.

I love the simplicity of this card.

Dressed Up

As I said in a previous post, I just love this set and can't get enough of it.  I think it will feature on my blog quite a bit in the coming weeks!

This time I've used the Dressed Up Framelits Dies with the fabulous Twitterpated DSP to make the card below.  This is so quick and easy and no cutting involved!

If you'd like to know more about these fabulous Framelits Dies and stamp sets, please email me.

New classes are being planned so watch this space for details - or email me.

All Dressed Up!

Hi.  I must first apologise for the lack of posts recently but hopefully my blog is now back on my agenda.

I had a delivery from Mr UPS this week and I'm just loving the new products in the Spring/Summer catalogue.

One of my favourite products is the stamp set All Dressed Up and the matching Framelits Dies.  This is such a fabulously flexible set and very girlie!

For this card I also used the Ovals Collection of Framelits Dies as well to make the base of the card as well as the layers.

I'll be back soon with lots more projects.

Postage Due

I just love this stamp set and here it looks completely different to the cards I made a week or two ago.  This is basically one stamp even though it looks as if I've used several stamps.  The addition of the "stamp" highlights the card and has been raised using Dimensionals.

I'm a bit hooked on the new 2012-13 In Colours!  This card is Raspberry Ripple with Gumball Green together with the fabulous co-ordinating ribbon.
